Basically essential oils are the parts of a plant that smell. They have medicinal properties and have been in use as medicine for thousands of years.
Dr Axe states, “Essential oils have been used for thousands of years in various cultures for medicinal and health purposes. Because of their antidepressant, stimulating, detoxifying, antibacterial, antiviral and calming properties, essential oils are recently gaining popularity as a natural, safe and cost-effective therapy for a number of health concerns.”
Dr Axe is one of strongest supporters of essential oils. Here is a good overview article: Dr Axe, essential oil uses and benefits
Artistic Organics supports the use of essential oils with our EMF pendants made from clay. A favorite oil can be dropped onto the unglazed part of the clay where it is absorbed as the pendant sits against your skin, or diffused so you breathe it throughout the day.
The essential oil industry is huge with many manufacturers. We’ve researched several and feel confident in our recommendation of two companies. (Please note, we have no affiliation with them, this is our recommendation)
Young Living, is a direct marketing company and had a very large part of the market in the US.
Pros: We like their products because of the extensive testing they do on all products. This includes energetic testing to make sure the oil is compatible with the human biofield.
Cons: Young Living is expensive. They have levels of sales reps that get paid and thus, their pricing is high. You can only purchase the oils through their reps.
Rocky Mountain Oil, is a company who makes good quality oils.
Pros: The products are reasonably priced. They have good quality control and all of the products we’ve tested, are compatible with the human biofield. Their oils can be purchased on their website with free shipping.
Cons: We’ve noticed that after about 6 months the oils loose some effectiveness and more is required for the same result.
